Wilbur

Pet Photo

Wilbur is a very sweet shy 2-3 year old pug. He is good with the other pugs and is like velcro to his human. He has no known health problems and would be a perfect addition to a pug loving home. He was given up because his owner moved to an apartment.
Roscoe- adoption pending

Roscoe is a 2-3 year old male pug.  He is a good sized boy.  His family lost their home so Roscoe did too.  Roscoe is new but gets along great with the other pugs and is very loving.  He will be neutered and ready to go the 2nd week in May.  Prefer a pug experienced home and another pug for Roscoe.
Frankie

Frankie is a 4-5 year old sweet boy.  He is healthy and read to go to a pug loving home. He gets along with most other dogs and is a typical love bug.

Tessa

Tessa is a tiny sweet little girl rescued from an abuse situation in Kansas City.  She is doing very well now and is gaining weight.  She has dry eye and will need drops but otherwise healthy and good with other pugs and loves people.  If you are looking for a sweet tiny girl,  Tessa would be a perfect fit.
Jordy -

Jordy is a two year old pug/corgi mix.  He is very smart.  He also have the loving side of a pug but more active than a pug.  He is pretty good with other dogs and loves all humans.  He is healthy and HOUSETRAINIED!!  He is a great dog.

Pete -

Pete is a wonderful big 8 year old pug.  He is mostly blind but can see shadows up close.  He is very smart,  housebroken and loving.  He has been moved around alot lately after his family of 7 years moved out of the country.  Pete is great with other pugs and loves to be on your lap and sleep with you.  His breathing gets loud when he gets excited and he needs eye drops but he is perfect otherwise.

Spike

Spike is a darling 7-8 year old black male.  He is very sweet and loves everyone and everything.  He is healthy and wonderful

Dexter

Bo is a 1-2 year old Bug (boston terrier/pug).   He was rescued from a bad situation.  He has lived outside most of his life so we will be working with him on becoming an indoor dog and we will assess him and post more later but he appears to be a sweetheart.

Cooper **Special needs***

Cooper is a gentle soul who enjoys hanging out in his doggy bed and is doing well with housetraining. He also likes going for shorts walks and car rides. Cooper is completely blind and cannot use stairs. He has adapted well to his foster home. We’ll provide more information as we learn more about him

Jack ***special needs***

Jack is a 8-year-old neutered fawn pug who was surrendered by his family because he has diabetes and the family couldn't afford his insulin that he needs to take 2 times a day.  They also didn’t have the time to take care for a special needs dog.  Jack is house-trained and crate-trained. He is a bigger pug weighing in at about 24 pounds.  He also likes to sleep in bed with his owners, which he gets to sometimes at his foster home. Jack gets along well other dogs, and he is learning to share with the three pugs at his foster home. He gets along well with children and he likes to follow them around.  Jack is a big fan of belly rubs, but doesn’t play much. He seems happy just to be in your lap sleeping away.  He takes his shots well and is a very well behaved pug.

George

George is 8 years old. He used to be a kennel-dog, which means he was used for breeding. He was also debarked. Before he came into rescue George hadn't had much human contact, but now he can't get enough of it! He will follow his humans around, and just soak up love and attention. He loves to snuggle, and sleep in his human's bed, and is a good, quiet sleeper. George has a sensitive stomach, so he needs to be fed mild food like Science Diet, but he is in great shape otherwise. He is housebroken, most of the time, and is very good about using a potty pad if he needs to go in between potty breaks. George is neutered and also just got a dental. His perfect forever home would be with someone who could provide lots of love and attention
Hudson & Oscar

Hudson and Oscar are 2 neutered male Pugs, both are fawn.  Hudson is the larger of the 2 and is 9 years old, Oscar is smaller and is 8 years old.  These 2 boys would really like to stay together as they have been together since they were puppies.  They were extremely overweight but have been losing weight on their new "diet" dog food!

These boys were owner surrendered but with questionable background.  It took a long time for them to come out of their shells and be social, but once they did, look out!  Oscar is a love bug and his eyes just light up when you talk to him, give him attention or even just look at him and catch his eye!  Hudson is more of a gentleman, still affectionate but in a more reserved manner.  Both of them fight restraint terribly, to the point where it becomes dangerous for them.  So, about any vet work will require medication.  Oscar panics completely and Hudson will try to bite in his panic.  They are reacting out of fear, as though they were never really handled at all in their former life.  They were neutered young but nothing was done after puppy shots and neutering as far as vet work.  The impression they have given is that they were taken to the vet once, a companion puppy was purchased for the adult dog and the 2 of them were just left to be dogs without much human interaction and definitely no basics such as shots, deworming, heartworm checks, nail trimming, basic handling!  They may have even lived outside as they did not want anything to do with a house for several weeks after their arrival, they preferred to live by themselves, hiding in the far corners of the yard and avoiding "capture" at all costs!  They have come so far and are so loving, they just need someone to take them into their heart and home!

These boys are very special dogs with a lot of love to give and are waiting for an family to give them love in return and see through their "quirks"!

Tie

Tie is 12 years old and 18 pounds. The vet thinks he ,ight be a bit under weight. He is very sweet. Tie is very active and spends all his time panting and wanting to mate with all the other dogs. He is not at all aggressive about anything. He has been marking the house when he is not wearing his belly band so his housetraining needs some work.
